Event overview
Event details
Forest Therapy is an emerging health practice that involves gentle walking amongst trees, participating in Forest Therapy Activities.
The activities are designed to connect us with nature and enhance our health and well-being.
We will use all our senses to connect with the nature around.
The recognised beneficial health impacts are on our immune system, heart rate, blood pressure, cortisol level, sleep patterns and general well-being.
On the day of the walk it is essential to wear enclosed walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.
Walk concludes with a Japanese Tea Ceremony.
Not accessible to people using walking aids - maybe try the Forest therary walk at Sale Botanic Garden instead.
