Event details

Forest Therapy is an emerging health practice that involves gentle walking amongst trees, participating in Forest Therapy Activities.

The activities are designed to connect us with nature and enhance our health and well-being.

We will use all our senses to connect with the nature around.

The recognised beneficial health impacts are on our immune system, heart rate, blood pressure, cortisol levels, sleep patterns and general well-being.

On the day of the walk it is essential to wear enclosed walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.

Walk concludes with a simple Japanese Tea Ceremony.

It is possible for this walk to be accessible to people with walking aids. Notification is required.
