The world-premiere blockbuster exhibition, Yayoi , has arrived in Melbourne. Curated especially for Australian audiences by the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) in collaboration with the artist, the exhibition is the largest presentation of the artist’s work ever staged in Australia.
With nearly 200 artworks, the exhibition reveals the range of Kusama’s multidisciplinary practice through a diverse display of immersive installations, dancing pumpkins and the global unveiling of the artist’s most recent kaleidoscopic infinity mirror room. Don’t miss the must-see exhibition, Yayoi , now on display at NGV International until 21 April 2025.
