Event details

Starting in the Peter Scullin Reserve and walking less than 500 metres, explore 10,000 years of history for Mordialloc and the Kingston coastline.

At the Macdonald homestead marker enjoy a cuppa and a story in the gorgeous rotunda built in 1925.

Here we’ll read a Boon Wurrung story, written down for the first time, after 10,000 years of oral tradition.

Finishing our walk at the mouth of the Mordialloc Creek, talking about the lifecycle of eels and why that matters today.

Note: Participants will need to be able to walk 500 metres and climb a set of stairs unaided.

Meet at: Peter Scullin Reserve, Wayfinding sign on Beach Road.
