Accommodation options for retirement & Aged Care changes

Gary from Services Australia will talk about accommodation options in retirement. He will give you a general overview of your options including:

• living in your own home
• using equity to create extra cash flow
• selling your house and downsizing
• super contributions
• renting
• retirement and lifestyle villages
• the Aged Care fee structure.

Peta from Mount Alexander Shire Council will discuss the changes to Aged Care legislation taking place in November 2025. The changes seek to improve how services are delivered to older people.
