U3A Stonnington Open Day – murder, art and music

Join us at our U3A Stonnington Open Day for a taste of our regular courses and activities for seniors.

At 10:00 am former Supreme Court Judge Bernard Teague AO introduces us to murder. Bernard presided over 90 murder trials during his career. He is also a former President of the Law Institute of Victoria.

11.30 to 12.30: Geraldine Cornall will present 'The Birth of Modern Art - Three Painters Cezanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh.' Geraldine studied painting at Prahran Tech and fine arts and classics at Melbourne University. She taught art for many years.

At 1:00 pm enjoy a performance by the Stonnington City Brass orchestra, who will also provide explanations about some of their instruments.
