Celebrate Seniors Month with a fun and energising workshop that supports brain health and wellbeing through music, movement, and mindfulness.
This is a 1.5-hour interactive session led by Maggie Flanagan, a counsellor and wellness coach with over 25 years' experience in community health education.
Designed for older adults, this workshop blends gentle physical activity with brain-boosting exercises to enhance memory, reduce stress, and improve overall mental clarity.
Participants will enjoy a variety of movement styles including Qi Gong, Brain Gym, Yogacise, and Bollywood-inspired dance, paired with simple tips for healthy ageing.
Maggie’s sessions are inclusive, engaging, and suitable for all fitness levels. With music and moves reflecting Australia’s cultural diversity, this uplifting workshop also offers a chance to connect socially and have fun in a supportive environment.
No experience necessary - just wear comfortable clothes and bring your enthusiasm!
Bookings are essential. If you cannot attend please contact the Horsham Library to cancel your ticket. This ensures that our whole community gets a chance to participate!
