Consumer rights & scam awareness workshop

This session provides information about scam prevention and consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law. This event is presented by the Monash University Street Law Program.

Learn about how to:

• recognise and avoid common scams,
• protect yourself from fraud,
• understand your rights when products are:
  • faulty,
  • not as described, or;
  • do not meet quality standards.
• know when you may be entitled to a refund/repair/replacement, and;
• seek help if you experience a consumer problem.

This session is designed to help you make informed decisions and confidently exercise your consumer rights.
