Quiet Corners: The art of AME Bale

AME Bale (1875–1955) was one of Australia’s most accomplished painters of flowers, portraits, interiors, and landscapes. She lived and worked for much of her life in the City of Boroondara.

This exhibition brings together over 80 of AME Bale's works. They are from both public and private collections. It's a rare opportunity to see Bale’s tonal practice, compositional skill, and lasting contribution to Australian art.
