Bus tour to Latrobe City Landfill, and Pinegro composting facility.
Talk at landfill about how the landfill operates and is managed in accordance with strict environmental controls. Tour compost facility and see what happens to your FOGO bin contents after it is collected.
Light morning tea will be provided at landfill.
Small amount of walking involved in to education centre at landfill, and at composting facility inside compost shed.
Bookings are required.
