Meet a Maremma guardian dog and discover the remarkable story of the penguin protectors in this fun and engaging educational experience.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn about Little Penguins and the importance of protecting these much-loved local wildlife.
Discover how Warrnambool’s world-first conservation project uses Maremma guardian dogs to protect the colony of Little Penguins on Middle Island.
There will also be an opportunity to have your photo taken with one of our Maremma dogs!
This is the second session in a unique series of heritage experiences throughout October, exploring fashion, wildlife, education and local history.
Includes a traditional Devonshire tea.
