Event overview
Event details
Join us for a hands-on cooking workshop, followed by a community meal hosted by Ajani Neighbourhood House.
Our facilitator from Open Table will provide an educational and interactive cooking experience, focusing on innovative yet simple ways to reduce our household food waste. You'll learn more about the benefits of induction cooking and how the Solar Savers initiative can make it easy to switch.
In a hands-on activity we’ll create Pantry Clear Out Bliss Balls. You'll be inspired to get creative with vegetable scraps, odds and ends and excess seasonal produce!
The workshop will be followed by a two-course lunch, including food prepared during the hands on activity.
This event is aimed at adults and is not suitable for children. Food tasting is involved, so you’ll be required to detail any allergies as part of the registration process. Please wear closed-toed shoes to the event.
Two-course lunch, tea and coffee included in ticket price.
