Event details
Ground golf is a club-and-ball sport created in Yurihama, Japan to encourage seniors to enjoy sport and the outdoors.
The game is played with a double-sided club and a light bocce-sized ball. It involves hitting the ball with the club towards a cage (at various distances from the tee).
It is an easy game to learn and play and has low impact on the body. A full game takes between one to 1.5 hours.
Bring hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Light afternoon tea will be served at the end of the event.
