Big Band Dance

Presented by the Victorian Seniors Festival.

B# Big Band recreate the magic of the 30s, 40s and 50s swing eras. Led by Henry K, this band features high calibre musicians known for entertaining jazz, swing and dance fans across Melbourne and the globe. Featuring Australian favourites Jefferson Smith and Sarah Maclaine.

Enjoy fabulous tunes made famous by Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Anita O’Day and other big names in swing. Jefferson and Sarah’s charm, charisma and renowned vocal talents will be backed by the high class 17-piece B# Big Band.

This event is for everyone who loves to dance, regardless of skill. If you’d prefer to sit and listen, the classic big band songs can be enjoyed from the gallery seating too.

Doors open at 11:15 am. Bookings are essential and can be arranged by phone or online.
