Curious about AI but not sure where to start? Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly workshop. It is designed to help older adults build confidence using artificial intelligence in everyday life.
This hands-on session will explore how AI tools such as ChatGPT can help with practical tasks including:
- finding information
- writing emails and messages
- translating languages
- planning activities
- answering questions.
You'll also learn how AI is being used in online scams, including fake voice calls, phishing messages, and manipulated images
Gain practical tips to spot warning signs, verify information, and stay safe online.
We are offering two sessions during Get Online Week:
- English session: Facilitated by Ben, an experienced digital literacy tutor who specialises in helping older adults build confidence in using technology.
- Mandarin session: Facilitated by Jimmy, who will deliver the workshop in Mandarin and provide additional guidance on using email.
No prior experience with AI is required.
The workshops will be delivered in a relaxed and supportive environment, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Please bring your smartphone and/or iPad/tablet (fully charged if possible). The workshop includes hands-on activities using your personal device.
Bookings are essential and places are limited.
