You can claim rebates for up to 2 vehicles in your name, regardless of how many vehicles are in your household.

The rebate is for light vehicles registered to individuals or sole traders.
Eligible vehicles include:
- cars
- wagons (4WD)
- station wagons
- motorcycles
- utes
- vans
- light trucks.

To apply, you’ll need:
- your registration number
- Victorian driver licence number or VicRoads customer number
- your full name
- your bank details (BSB, account name and number).
Most payments are processed within 30 days of lodging your claim, with payments made directly into your bank account.
If you've paid your registration recently, your application may take longer while your information is updated through VicRoads.
