Event details

Come join in a celebration of older Victorians, their friends, allies and families. Celebration Day welcomes and encourages all to enjoy and engage in wonderful performances.

The Fed Square precinct will come to life with entertainment featuring the passion and talents of mainly older artists. Enjoy music, dance and workshops across the Main Square, Birrarung Marr Stage and Zinc Studio.

To celebrate 100 years of Table Tennis Victoria there will also be a pop-up table tennis activation. Get tips from ambassadors representing member clubs from across the state.

Plan your journey

Victorian Seniors Card holders can access 8 days of free public transport across Victoria from 5 to 12 October 2025. This includes travel across all metropolitan services, V/Line train and coach services, and selected regional bus services outside of the myki-enabled area.

Taking the train to Flinders Street Station is the best way to get to Celebration Day. When exiting Flinders Street Station, please head to the southern exit closest to the Yarra River and the Clocks at Flinders restaurant.

You need to reserve a seat on long distance V/Line trains and some coaches. Bookings open Tuesday 2 September.

Interactive ukulele performance

A special feature of Celebration Day will be an interactive and intergenerational ukulele performance. Bring along your uke and play along with older and younger Victorians from across the state.
