Inside of his book, adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book’s pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life - and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible. When the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands, it will take all of Harold and his friends’ creativity to save both the real world and his own. Harold and the Purple Crayon is the first film adaptation of the beloved children’s classic that has captivated young readers for decades.
Directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by John Davis, the live-action hybrid family adventure/comedy stars Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Benjamin Bottani, Jemaine Clement, Tanya Reynolds with Alfred Molina and Zooey Deschanel. The film’s screenplay is written by David Guion & Michael Handelman, based on the book by Crockett Johnson.

- Winners are entitled to one family in-season family pass which will be valid for use by 4 people (at the same time/session) from 12 September 2024 at all participating cinemas screening the film nationally, and for the duration of the film’s season.
- Entries will be open from 26 August 2024 to 11.59pm 8 September 2024. To be included in the draw, you will need to have clicked on the ‘Click here to enter the prize draw for Harold and the Purple Crayon movie competition’ button within the August Victorian Seniors Card e-News by 11.59pm on 8 September 2024.
- Winners will be drawn at random on 9 September with winners contacted within a week from the prize draw. Unclaimed passes will be redrawn on Monday 16 September 2024. Winners will receive their family in-season movie pass for Harold and the Purple Crayon via post.
- The passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion.
- The pass cannot be changed to a different film or exchanged for cash, and is not valid for 3D sessions, Gold Class, special event screenings, public holidays, discount days and Saturdays after 6pm, and not valid for mobile or online ticketing options.
- Winners are encouraged to see the movie within the first two weeks of opening to access the best screening times. Check with your local cinema for screening details.
