The annual celebration of senior Victorians, the Victorian Seniors Festival runs throughout October each year and includes thousands of free and low-cost events around Victoria.
This year we’re takin’ it easy so come join in the fun in October - every local council is creating special events and activities to celebrate seniors and elders.

Celebration Day, Sunday 2 October 2022.
Federation Square, Melbourne. 12pm Midday – 7.00pm.
A free event for seniors and their friends and family. Lots of great music, dance and performance on the main stage, at The Edge and on Riverside Terrace.
Official 2022 Festival opening and Welcome to Country at 2.00pm.
ACMI 2022 Seniors Film Festival Sunday 2 October-Thursday 4 October.
ACMI Cinemas, Federation Square.
The Sentimental Bloke 5.30pm Sunday 2 October and 6.00pm Monday 3 October.
