Screened in the wonderful heritage cinema of the Rivoli, legendary Catherine Deneuve plays Bernadette Chirac in the delightful and colourful comedy, based on the French first lady’s rise to celebrity.

As the woman who had worked tirelessly to have her husband elected to the presidency, she expected to finally come out of the shadows when she arrived at the Elysee. Set aside and judged for being too old-fashioned, Bernadette decides to take revenge by reinventing herself in the most wonderful way.

A playful and smart comedy/drama. Rated M
