Event details

The Vessel is the story of an older woman, in the latter stages of dementia, living in aged care.

The play is a deeply personal account of the small acts of kindness in her final days and hours, as she shares memories from her earlier life with us, the audience.

Testimonial: “The Vessel is a clever, funny, sad, heartbreaking snapshot into the world of ageing, aged care, dementia, complexities within relationships and families…and so many other things…and I am sure every audience member could relate on some level to many of the messages and experiences. Such a gift and such a deeply compassionate story acted out so beautifully by a wonderfully talented cast. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Everyone should have the opportunity to see it.” Louise (Bendigo)

All participants are welcome to join us for a community lunch at Community Town Hall before - $7 for a two course meals.
