Join us for a heartwarming and enriching afternoon at the Victorian Pride Centre as we celebrate Seniors Week with "An Afternoon with Friends of Dorothy."
This special event is designed to honour and support our LGBTIQ+ seniors, their families, and friends. Everyone is welcome to explore the diverse activities and services available.

Community Pop-up Stations

Engage with local community organisations offering resources and support tailored to older LGBTIQ+ individuals

Preserving Your Family’s Oral History by Memory Lane Life Stories: Discover why your life story and family history matter. Learn about the lasting legacy of recording your story in your voice for your loved ones. Gain insights on creating intergenerational interviews or interviews with loved ones.
Memory Lane Cafe
1:45 PM to 3:45 PM
Memory Lane Cafe: Supported by Lifeview and Dementia Australia, this monthly cafe provides a cozy and supportive space for those living with dementia and their loved ones.
Tour
2 PM to 3 PM
Private Tour of the Victorian Pride Centre: Take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore the Victorian Pride Centre and learn about its mission and services.
Afternoon tea
3 PM to 4 PM
Free Coffee, Tea, and Sweets: Enjoy complimentary refreshments while mingling with friends old and new.
This event is open to everyone, regardless of age, who wishes to connect with and support the LGBTIQ+ community, particularly our aging communities.
