ACA - Great Getaways at Anglesea

The Great Getaways is for individuals over the age of 55 a chance to try new activities and socialise with like-minded people in a beautiful coastal location – walking distance to the beach.

Anglesea Discovery Camp is a coastal adventure camp located by the famous Great Ocean Road, only 90 minutes from Melbourne. At Anglesea, you have the rare opportunity to explore the sand, sea, surf,
bush and river environments all in one place.

Accommodation at Getaways is in comfortable dormitory style, shared bunkrooms (lower bunks only) with bathrooms under the same roof.
You will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag/ doona and pillow). Participants share rooms with people of the same gender unless requested to stay as a couple or as group of friends.

The activities are designed to that everyone can take part, no matter what their fitness levels.

What’s included in the full weekend:
• 2 nights, 3 active days and 6 meals.
• Activities, including specialist equipment and instruction (may include – crate climb, canoeing, bushwalks, campfire, and more).
• Lots of fun and laughs.
What’s not included: Transport to and from the camp, linen/bedding.

What’s not included:

• Transport to and from the camp, linen/bedding.

The Getaway price does not include transport.

If you do not drive, we may be able to assist with arrangements for you. Some options may include public transport, transfers or car pools with other participants (extra fees may apply).
