Victoria Police reminds seniors of its commitment to community safety this World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
Victoria Police is reminding seniors of our commitment to protecting the community and keeping everyone safe this World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) on Friday 15 June.
This June we are calling on volunteers to encourage the organisation they volunteer with to nominate for an Age-Friendly Victoria Award.
All nominations receive a certificate and the Awardee is presented with their award at Government House as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival. Read on for more information.
