With the festive season upon us, it’s a popular time for relaxing, holidaying, and catching up with loved ones. However, Christmas cheer isn’t the only thing that can spread – COVID-19 is still very much in our community.

While restrictions have eased, it’s important to remain vigilant on protecting your health, and your community. This is especially important for senior Victorians, who we know are at higher risk of serious health impacts from COVID-19.

To help navigate the festive season in a world with COVID-19, the Commissioner for Senior Victorians, Gerard Mansour, and Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, have developed a video series, which covers some important facts and tips to protect yourself.

From understanding more about COVID-19 antiviral medicine and vaccinations, to ways to stay connected with loved ones, there are some useful insights and reminders.

The first episode in this video series focuses on COVID-19 antiviral medication.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as more videos will be released.
