As Commissioner for Senior Victorians, a big part of my role is talking with and listening to older people across our state – and sharing the issues and ideas that matter most to you with the Victorian Government. Your voices make a big difference and I want to hear from you in my new state-wide survey.

About the Ageing Well Survey

The Ageing Well survey gives you the chance to raise important issues, share your experiences of ageing and highlight the support you need to age well.

All Victorians aged 60 and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians aged 50 and over are encouraged to take part in the survey. All survey responses are anonymous.

The survey will ask you how you feel about your:

  • quality of life
  • relationships with family and friends
  • independence
  • experience of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • involvement in your community
  • health and self-care
  • technology use.

There’s also open comment areas for your to share your reflections on ageing.

The findings of the survey will inform my ongoing advocacy on behalf of older Victorians, in particular advice provided to the Victorian Government. By sharing your views, you can contribute to the big picture and drive positive change. The survey is a great opportunity to ensure the things that matter to you are on the agenda for our state. I really encourage all older Victorians to get involved and share their experiences.

The survey is now closed. Thank you to all who took part.
