Noel Dunstan recipient of a Service Award in 2017
The 2018 Premier’s Volunteer Champions Awards aim to recognise outstanding volunteers from across Victoria, from all sectors, roles, causes, and communities.
This year there are four categories you can nominate in: Leadership, Impact, Service, and Teamwork.
Last year Noel Dunstan was the recipient of a Service Award. Noel was recognised for his incredible work as keeper and custodian of the Glenroy Community Hall over more than 50 years. And Clare Gray was the recipient of the Leadership Award. Over the past 30 years, Clare has helped establish 30 Stroke Support Groups across Victoria, led fundraising efforts, and provided crisis support for stroke survivors and their families.
Taking the time to nominate someone shows that you’ve noticed their efforts, value their contribution, and recognise their skills and efforts – so put in a nomination today.
