Screening process

All shortlisted nominees for the Victorian Senior of the Year Awards will be subject to a thorough vetting and screen process conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Shortlisted nominees will be contacted in mid-July and advised that they are being considered for an award.

All nominees will be required to:

  • Confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions and following the instructions set out in the email (or letter if the nominee does not have an email address) that will be sent to them notifying them of their shortlisting; and
  • Submit a completed National Police Check Consent Form with associated proof of identity documents. Instructions and a copy of the National Police Check Consent Form will be provided in their notification email (or letter if the nominee does not have an email address).

In the event that the nominee does not accept these terms and conditions, the nominee will be ineligible to be considered for the awards.
