Benefits
Victorian Seniors Card holders can take advantage of the following benefits:
- Concession fares on public transport throughout all states and territories of Australia
- Free public transport during the Victorian Seniors Festival week
- Free off-peak travel vouchers each year for travel within Victoria
- Free travel within any two adjacent zones on Saturdays and Sundays with the Seniors myki
- Access to thousands of discounts from a variety of participating businesses (usually 10%). Participating businesses display the "Seniors Card Welcome Here" logo. Full details can be obtained from Discount Directory
- Free entry to the Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, and Scienceworks
- Exemption from a Fishing Licence to fish in Victorian waters
Travelling interstate
Victorian Seniors Card holders are entitled to concession rate travel on public transport in all Australian states and territories, so remember to take your card with you on your next interstate holiday.

Travelling in New Zealand
The Victorian Government has signed an agreement with the New Zealand Government to allow Victorian Seniors Card holders to use their card in New Zealand to access discounts from a wide range of participating businesses.
The New Zealand SuperGold Card is the equivalent of the Victorian Seniors Card. As part of the reciprocal agreement, Victorian Seniors Card holders visiting New Zealand can now access discounts from a range of New Zealand SuperGold Participating Businesses.

Note that the agreement does not extend to seniors public transport concessions in either country.
